Seohyun and The Guitar
How did Seohyun come to play the guitar? Yonghwa taught her. Why did he teach her? Because it was a wish. Why did he wish for her to learn the guitar? Because he wanted to share one of his interests with her and hopefully could perform with her with a guitar onstage. Why grant him a wish, though? Because she lost the bet in the amusement park challenge. Why that wish? Because Yonghwa asked her to dance to Gee and she thought it wasn't a good wish so she asked him to think of a better one.
Im thinking what would have happened if Seohyun just danced to Gee and didnt care whether Yonghwa's wish was sensible or not back then. I mean look at her now. She performed with a pink guitar on a show in 2011. She had a special performance with another pink guitar on an international kpop concert in 2012. And just earlier this year, she sang a complete song while playing the guitar all by herself. And we saw her carrying around a guitar on her back just recently.
She said back then that she was interested in playing other instruments, guitar as one, but she didnt have the time. With Yonghwa's wish, she had a deeper reason and was more motivated to learn it. Wasn't she cute when she first strummed a guitar in EP 1? She was so amazed by the sound it made. Look now she plays it very confidently like she's always been playing it.
Though Yonghwa hasn't gotten half of his wish yet from 3 years ago, I'm sure he has everything he could wish for for now.
