Doctor mania
So today starts the doctor appointment frenzy that will be my life for the next 8 months. Today is the appointment with diabetes doctor #1 (the one that normally follows me for my CFRD). She already told me that I will be referred to a different diabetes doctor that specializes in diabetes and pregnancy, so that appointment is soon to come. Cf clinics are now monthly (at least, obviously more if I'm sick). Plus I will be followed by the high risk pregnancy ob/gyn (dr. Brain... I get a kick out of her name. Too bad she didn't become a neurologist, or perhaps that would be too cliche?). And then the scans. I have my first ultrasound booked for 2 Mondays from now which I am psyched about. Will be able to hear the heartbeat and make sure that there is still a baby in there. I have a feeling I will be paranoid about miscarrying the entire pregnancy... but that's a different subject.
