*sigh* I miss my icons
Wow, I feel like I've almost been ignoring you guys. I've left a few comments on a very few journals, but really, I've been pretty quiet since my last visit to grandma.
Anyway, A LOT HAS HAPPENED. Yes, that needed all caps.
First, RIP to Ted Kennedy, a bit heartbreaking to have lost him.
Second, a very late birthday wish to the awesome lafemmedarla, hope it was lovely, hon!!
Thirdly (yes, that's getting old), how about some pics of my kitten?
The day we got her in May (she was 5-6 weeks)
And just last week
She's gotten so big (but still pretty small) and she's still as crazy as ever.
Um...OH, I watched Glee and ADORE it, can't believe I resisted all summer to watch it.
I also caught some clips from the President's speech last night. I haven't talked much about the health care debate (here in the states) but I'm still not up to talking about it because just thinking of some of the antics going on just piss me off so frickin' much. (I am completely with the President on reform, although I don't like him potentially open to dropping the public option)

Yum...my mom and I made homemade chocolate chip cookies, they were SO GOOD. Yeah, my mom has this recipe book that was her mom's that had been put together by a church group and has so many recipes in it. I think I'd like to search through it and maybe make some more cookies.
And I will not promise, but I really want to comment more to you guys, so I'll try!
