HELLO MY LOVELIES!
Hey you guys! I've been so quiet because I've been fucking busy. It really sucks. Reading the f-list though, I'm so happy to see most of y'all had lovely holidays. ♥
So, a list of things I'd like to share with you all...
- Target had Firefly for $19.99, I got a giftcard to Target for $25. Do the math. *SQUEE*
- I found an old giftcard to Borders. $15! Score (When I say old, I mean literally years)
- While I may hate it when my sister comes home sometimes, it's so lovely at the same time because she's so outspoken and very obvious liberal, it warms my heart to hear her talk about some things. Like, when I was trying to tell my mom that no, I'm not really Christian, that I haven't "accepted Jesus Christ", she was....unhappy to say the least. And then my sister comes home and she's...not really quiet about her distaste of religion. AT. ALL. It was mostly in front of my dad though, and he's pretty eh about any religion. And my sister voted Obama :D This wasn't a surprise. I'm not sure you can be a teacher today (which my sister is) and NOT be a Democrat.
- I fucking love our local flea market, it's the best thing (well, very nearly, their "pet store" could use a little investigation). They have a little book cove and it's heaven. And I mean heaven as in you can get a complete works of William Shakespeare hardcover novel for $2. NO LIE.
- OMG, any of y'all watch Life? Amazon.com has it for $17.49. Damn, you guys. I should have asked for a Amazon gift card.
- So, the only Doctor Who mood I seem to be in is the bug that bite me and is making write another Martha Jones centered fic. It's making me want to change my mood theme to a Martha one I acquired. I'm trying to think what triggered this in my brain, and I just remembered a Martha fic I read the other day and I know now why. Got bit by a big bug, apparently.
- There's been a book I've wanted to rec to you guys for a long time, but I couldn't remember the name or the author's, and I thought I have lost the book but I cleaned up my room a little and found it. It's called The Last Time They Met by Anita Shreve.
- I really hope you guys had a great week, and in the unlikely event I don't get to in the coming week, hope you guys have an amazing new year :D
