Since I got my S3 DVDs the other day, I've been enjoying a nice re-watch and I just finished the first disc.
Man, I forgot how hilarious this season was.
- I really love how Oscar deals with Michael. I think he deals with him well, and not just in "Gay Witch Hunt" (which, how he's able to deal with him as calmly as he does, I don't know, even after he blows up at Michael).
- I enjoy the Stamford stories. Call me weird, whatever, I enjoyed them.
- I love Karen. THERE, I SAID IT. CANCEL MY JIM/PAM MEMBERSHIP CARD, I DON'T CARE.
Ahem. Sorry. But no, really, I enjoy her and her early interactions with Jim. I have the same feelings I did when I first watched this season.
- And then I watch the end of "Initiation" and I want my Jim/Pam membership card back because LOVE. Seriously, how much fun they have talking about nothing and seeing how much they obviously miss each other.
- I love that part in "Initiation" when they're in the fields and Dwight's like "Oh, I'm gonna run to my car and grab this thing and drive away" and Ryan glances at him and is like "Sure, okay, I'm oblivious" and goes back to patting the dirt like a little kid and it's so cute!
- I wish they let Chip Esten be more funny as Josh. I love him when he's on Whose Line is it Anyway?, he's fun on that show.
- B.J. is really great as Ryan, I don't know why I never noticed that before. He's a great actor and a great writer.
- Jim is a sleepy drunk. Heh, I find that funny. And then Pam's a happy/hyper drunk.
- Angela is FANTASTIC.
- I totally see why people love Kelly/Ryan. It's really fun to see Ryan all exasperated by her and then you see the moments he likes her.
- OH JIM. OH PAM. OH ROY. The angst, I eat it up. Yeah, I loves it :D
And hey, I am also screencapping the episodes as I go, and I have the first couple episodes up
here and it'll be updated in a couple minutes with two more episodes. And then I'll start on the second disc later.
