what a day.
so day matt helped me move in (what a good friend, eh?) and I spent most of the rest of the day doing that. Finally around 8:30 Whit came over and went with me to the grocery store. Then I went over to see Whit's special RA room and then on to Jen's. At which point...Sara ended up cutting her finger open and we had to take her to the ER.
It was an odd group...well only odd in the since that Michael Turco also came along. It's not exactly weird to see Amy, Jen and me around Sara... Anyways, I'm pretty sure Michael is in love with Amy, which makes me smile. The three of us went to Walmart afterwards and Amy and I played dress up. We put on night gowns and tried on a shirt--together. Ha. It reminded me of Elise and I's escapades in Walmart (although nothing can really top those---WHEN YOU KNOW THE NOTES TO SING). Anyways, it was just an interesting night. I'd say fun, minus Sara's misfortune.
Apparently, some of Daniel's 'friends' didn't like me last year because they didn't like Daniel's ego/personality most of the time and thought I had to be horrible. Michael told me that...it's weird. I really don't care. I know a couple of them didn't like me and they most certainly don't matter in the scheme of things. Plus, I have the most amazing friends in the world (here and in SA), so a few misfits' opinions don't really bother me. I just thought it was interesting. I'm fairly certain that Michael was one of those folks too...but who knows. They're okay and all...but I think my year will be much better without all of that craziness.
I just needed to remember why Daniel and I don't work (your friends' thinking your ego is the worst thing to happen to the planet, isn't exactly good news).
In other news, I'm using panteene's redhead shampoo and conditioner. I wonder what it will do. Unlike John Frieda's, it's not for COLOR treated hair...the smart folks at panteene realized that some people have NATURAL red hair. High five, for panteene.
my room is coming along nicely. Britt doesn't get here til Saturday...but I think I'll have all of this put away by tomorrow--YAY just in time for Matt's visit on thursday. I'm so excited.
