Rock Band
I am one to frown on excessive video game playing...especially since I'm a teacher. But, I must admit that I find the game "Rock Band" to be awesome. It's like Guitar Hero, but it also has a drummer, bass player, and a singer. It's really quite fun. The drums are by far my favorite. I've been playing it a lot since we got the game this Christmas.
This was exactly what I wanted...to get the hell away from NY for awhile, and to think about things not related to NY, job, etc. It's not that I dislike NY or what I'm doing there...It's just that I felt I needed a much-deserved break.
