New place!
So, I only stopped my Zillow/Trulia obsession for a little bit, and then I saw something online in Stamford that I really liked and which Jeremy agreed looked promising. So, I contacted the broker and although that particular property was sold before we could see it, it motivated us to take a look at what else was available. 3 weeks later and we put an offer on a condo and it was accepted two days later! Wow, so, we actually are going to get a place. I couldn't be any more excited! The thing that sold me on the place was that the condo/townhouse has a finished basement. I could envision having social gatherings in the basement. I could see family parties and friends coming to dinner. At our current place, that's kind of difficult. We have had lots of overnight guests though! We don't really know anyone else in Stamford, but we do have friends in Norwalk that we see once a month or so. Jeremy works in Stamford, so I'll get to see him more often as his commute will be only about 5 minutes. My commute will be about the same since I leave before the traffic really picks up. I'm so excited! It almost seems unreal. Our inspection is Saturday.
