Blockbuster

I'm ready to sue Blockbuster.

So, after working 8 very very long hour at Starbucks, I run to the grocery store to grab some milk and popcorn and gum. Then, I cheerfully decided to rent a movie from Blockbuster since I have the night off and I'm going to be doing laundry. So, after locking my bike, I run inside and pick Stranger than Fiction over the Sheppard (or whatever it is called). I proceed to pay, when the guy asks me for my ID. I don't carry my wallet around with me to work b/c A: I don't want to spend money w/ my debit card, so I only carry cash. B: I don't like having my purse at work in case someone steals. and C: I don't drive, and I can't buy alcohol, so there isn't any reason for me to carry around my ID.

therefore, I don't have any other form of ID with me. The guy refused to serve me. He goes "I can hold the movie for you while you go get your ID".....I HAVE A BIKE. I'VE BEEN WORKING FOR 8 HRS AND I CAN BARELY STAND UP. THERE IS NO WAY THAT I'M GOING TO RIDE MY BIKE UP AND DOWN HILLS AGAIN TODAY JUST SO I CAN GET MY FREAKIN' ID. *this is what I think

I told him that I have a bike. He said "I'm sorry, there isn't anything that I can do for you."

LOOK Dude. I work my butt off. I have a night off to myself and I just want to rent a movie. He wouldn't even let me tell him my address and everything to verify it. Even at college they let you into the dorm if you can verify that you are who you say you are with your information if you lose your ID.

Rules. They piss me off.

I feel much better now that I've showered and vented. Now, I'm going to do laundry for 4 hrs and watch whatever is on TV.
