1) "You can't sell horse tranquilizers to a midget!" -the best line from In Bruges, said by Colin Farrell. The rest of the movie was meh, but the midget stuff was great. :-P

2) The ice cream truck came to work today! It stopped in the parking lot and we all got to go out and pick an ice cream for an afternoon treat. Our property managers that we rent the building from were being nice to us today.

I got myself a chipwich for old times' sake (how can you pass up a chipwich?!) -- and I've been thinking about dodging flying ice cream at Friday night dinners for four years in a row. If Kevin Wang was a waiter on Friday night, you definitely had to watch out not to get killed by a chipwich to the head. Nate Senchy was also particularly aggressive with the flying ice cream. Ahhh, how I miss college dorm life. :-P

3) Yesterday was Caltech/JPL Dodger day -- my family and Daniel's family went to sit in the all-you-can-eat pavilion and cheer on Manny and the boys in blue. They didn't disappoint, for sure, giving us a very exciting game! We saw Manny Ramirez hit a home run (on the first pitch that he saw), Matt Kemp hit a home run, and Andre Ethier hit TWO home runs, including the walk-off homer in the bottom of the 9th! Granted, they shouldn't have had to play the bottom of the 9th at all, but they gave up 4 unearned runs in the top of the 9th to tie the score. Well, I guess that made Ethier's two-run shot even more dramatic, so we got to see jumping up and down and a huge huddle at home plate when Ethier got there, but it was a little scary there in the 9th before that. Nevertheless, the Dodgers prevailed to remain tied for 1st in the NL West! I'm convinced that they can win the division and go all the way -- they've got the winning fever now and won't let up! :)

Oh, and I also got to meet Eric Karros before the game! And Jim Gott. It was pretty awesome. I almost missed them because the line was so long right before the game started, but I made it. Woo hoo for getting to meet some of your childhood heroes! :)
