Homeless...
No I am not really homeless... but I am out of my flat for 4 days while a friend has it "on loan". His friend is over from Australia with her 3 year old daughter and I thought it might be nice for them to have a bit of space to themselves.
So as of last night I'm camping on people's couches and doing overnight shifts at work. Last night was at Gav (who has my flat right now), Alan and Sean's place (with huge thanks for Alan for feeding me also) and back there tomorrow night. Tonight and Sun at work. Not such a big deal really and in fact is quite good fun. Sean only moved in today and I helped out a bit with that - perhaps not a fantastic idea given I have a 15 hour shift tonight but hey - I'll get through!
Living on my own for so long I had forgotten what it was like to have other folk about. I had been thinking about sharing a place to save a bit of money as it does get expensive living on your own. Especially as I am out so much it almost feels like I am paying all that rent just for a place to crash between night shifts. Still it is all about finding the right people to share with I suppose. I will keep a look out.
