Dear Uncle E...

I had no real reason for posting this other than that it makes me laugh. Enjoy!

Dear Uncle E,
I am in a rock band. I used to write kick ass rock songs, but once I accidentally wrote an emotional sad song and now everyone likes that song the best. I'm worried that I am not a true rocker since no one likes my rock songs. All they want to hear is my weak emotional songs that don't rock at all. What do you think?

Dear D,
Uncle E feels your pain. You want to rock, but the people love your power ballads. What's a rocker to do? Uncle E says go with your gut. If you want to rock, then damn the bastards! You MUST rock. But you may also want to take some time to explore your power ballad potential. Maybe this is your true calling. Perhaps you're a power balladeer locked inside a rocker's closet. Don't spend your life living a lie. Figure out who you are. Maybe there's room for rock AND ballads in your life.
