violet rain
We are having a thunderstorm. For some reason I associate them very strongly with summer and with camp and so it seems weird to be having one now, in November. The lightening is really beautiful and a bright white. It is cool because it is far away and so somehow with each streak it lights up the sky so you can see the silhouette of everything around. Teddi says that “if rain did rain in purple rain we'd have violet water stains of rain” but it is not raining at all so I guess we don’t have to worry about that. Even though it would be nice.
