Okay so on my way home we stop at The Chandler Mall and well...My friend gets on the bus, now I met this girl on the bus she is awesome we get along really well and she keeps the route from becoming dull, Okay as I said she gets on the bus and whispers to me that this guy in a flannel shirt who reeks of alcohol continues to make unapporpreiate physical contacts with her and well refuses to leave her alone. Both of us go Stone Wall Jackson on him as he continues to stare at her, all the while I am thinking I should say "Look you are making us both uncomfortable I ask you to refrain from speaking, staring or making any physical contact with either of us." Finally he gives up and moves to the lower section of the bus. We then begin to talk freely about how creepy that was and what she can do to protect herself. He then returns to the back of the bus and sits in the seat next to her. Her stop comes up and she gets off the bus, he then follows her and calls after her. I wasn't able to see what happened after that but I have been severly worried over her safety since the bus took off. She was headed towards the Wendy's where she works to escape into a very public place, plus she has friends there, but I don't know if she made it without being harrassed or molested any farther.
This makes me curious about the false since of security I have built around myself in this world I mean I know that on the bus really creepy, starey guys flock to me but nothing has been said or done so I don't worry. This however shakes me she was really scared and I didn't say a word. Even better would have been for me to get off the bus with her and protect her somehow. I end this with Always carry a heavy hard back book in your bag, a cell phone if possible and be sure someone knows where you are.
I put the best of energy towards her cause.
Love ya'll lots! I want nothing to make you fear such as she or worry as much as me.
