I understand how you feel. I'm a boring person and that's why I only have a few friends T_T I love having friends but because I'm usually very quiet I feel like they get awkward when they're with me. I just really don't know what to say :(
Yeah, when it comes to social media, I'm also very quiet XD I'm a silent reader most of the time. Well actually, after I got into the JE fandom, that's when I really started communicating with other fans. Especially in the HSJ fandom, I love getting to know other fans. But yeah, I'm bad at keeping friends since like I said I'm usually quiet. That doesn't mean I don't care though.
But still in your case, at least your friend should have said something to you instead of quietly disappearing like that. Because that can really hurt a lot even if she's only an online friend.
But you know, she must have abandoned (sorry for this word) you but that doesn't mean no one cares about you. I'm sure you have some other friends on twitter in the same fandom as you are that cares about you. Don't say you're a boring person (even though I just called myself like that too -__-) because from what I observed from you (from your twitter or tumblr (omg, I sound like a stalker or something XDD)), you're not boring.
People like that are not worth even thinking about (I am so mean >.< XD). There are people who will come into your life and there are those who will leave you. But there are also those who will treasure your friendship with them. It's better to think about the latter than think about those who left you :D
And I'm so sorry about this overdramatic advice of mine XDD I'm really bad at comforting or giving advices T_T
