I got a job today. It was the strangest thing...
I was downtown for my senior picture photo session while my sister stopped into Coffee Grounds for a drink. She had applied there about two months ago and was told that they weren't hiring so I had never even considered that place as an option.
Well, when she went in there, the girl at the counter remembered Lauren and told her that they were now hiring for fall and asked her if she would like to interview with them. Lauren told them that she already had a job, but that I was still looking. So she ended up scheduling me for an interview at a place where I had never even applied. I was getting my senior pictures done when Lauren came up to us and told me that I had a job interview at 12:30 and that I need to fill out an application.
So after my pictures, I went in and interviewed, and they hired me on the spot. At least, I think they hired me. The lady never actually said that I was hired, but she did give me a bunch of tax forms and stuff to fill out and welcomed me to the "team".
I don't know, should be fun. All I can say is that it is ABOUT TIME!
