...on everything atm. ;w;
I think this quarterly schedule is destroying me slowly...it's only been about a month since classes started, but we're already having some midterms because each class has a few midterm tests/quizzes per quarter. This week, I had my first college test but it was for psych and I did fairly well on it, so I thought I'd be fine in other classes, but that's not going to happen at this rate.
I'm averaging 25% or something on the past 2 weekly calculus quizzes and we have the first midterm for that class next Tuesday and I'm positive I'll fail that one also...D8 I wish I took AP calculus and not AP statistics last year because now I'm such a slacker in math and all these calculus is too new to me compared to people who took calculus last year in high school.
History probably wouldn't be that bad, but I'm so behind on the readings so I'm trying to finish that rn although I also have a big quiz on it next Monday...ORZ WHY ARE ALL MY TESTS/QUIZZES RIGHT AFTER WEEKENDS?
Anyways, I'm starting to think it's better for me to go home every weekend because I don't like my roommates. They are the total opposite of me, i.e. loud, social drinkers who love to go out partying, etc. Last weekend, one of them had her bf visiting our room, so he basically stayed in our room for the whole weekend. Since I came back Sunday afternoon I had to spend a night with him in our tiny triple room. When I told my mom about that she got so mad so she says she'll give a little lecture about it to my roommates and OMG my life is so awkward as it is with them so I don't want that. ;A; But at the same time, because I can't really complain about anything to them for being who they are, it might be better that my mom says something to them even if they'll see that I can't stand up for myself...
Also, I found a couple of bugs in our room, one of which disgusted the hell out of me, so I'm trying to spend the least time in there as possible. There's no screen on the window, but if we don't open it on sunny days, our room feels so muggy because it's facing south and we eat in our room all the time, so I can't really prevent those bugs, can I? ;w;
Fandom talk:
OH NO I'M SO BEHIND ON ANIME! DX
The only shows I'm keeping up with are Persona 4 and Fate/Zero. But I'm afraid the f/z anime will catch up on my reading of f/z novels. I'm enjoying the Persona 4 game walkthroughs so it's easier for me to watch the anime for that rn. But basically that's it. I'm behind on the shows from summer and new autumn shows...oops.
However, I have happy news!! I'M GOING TO JAPAN FOR SPRING BREAK!! /dances
Remember when I was so happy earlier this year about going to Japan during spring break but then the earthquake ruined it? That just cannot happen next year because I just need to go to Japan while I can!! If something does happen, I think I'm forever cursed about making a big trip because 10 years ago when my family was living in Japan, we were planning to go to Disneyland in CA but then we got scared by 9/11 OTL. My sister went to Japan last fall and she gets to go to Disneyland for spring break this school year for band so I need to go to somewhere too. My mom and I are planning to go to Osaka instead of Tokyo where we planned to go last spring, but if this gets canceled again, I might as well sign up for study abroad or something. I need to have good grades for that so I need to pass that calc test ahsjdklga
