(no subject)
at work and bored, quelle surprise.
my inbox (personal, not work) has been ridiculous the past few days with stuff for history society. so far i've kept on top of it all, but i have a feeling this president business may be a little more stressful than i bargained for. oh well, no worries ... it's what i want to do, so i can deal. but i promise that next time i won't ignore my darling boyfriend to respond to people's emails ;)
in more exciting news (not really), my nails are getting longer! i do think i will get a manicure the first week in july, so that they are super gorgeous by the time school starts in september. i also have some good self-tanner to make myself look less dead and i have a waxing appointment with faye next tuesday (not telling you what for, haha). yep, so that's that .. yay pretty megan! :)
shane and i went to the gym last night ... it actually felt great. i don't think i've ever said that about exercising before, especially not with how lazy i've become. we're going again tonight, and i'm going to do some more cardio and then the short (20 minute) winsor pilates when i get home. then lost will be on! yay! even though it's a rerun (and i have all the episodes on my computer) it's still fun to watch. i have to tape it for mom too, she loves it now. my (and shane's) tv addictions are rubbing off on her! score.
my boss is back today, but so far i don't really have a lot to do. i'll be doing inventory for le coin français this afternoon though, so that will keep me somewhat occupied ... then i have a doctor's appointment (ew) then pick up shane from work, etc. etc.
i really need to read this stupid book (the return of martin guerre) ... maybe i'll read a chapter or two before lunch.
speaking of geekiness, i joined a few new communities today ...
