So, I’m guessing that Jenny outing Blair/Chuck and stealing Blair’s posse is why fandom hates her? I dunno. No worse than anything Chuck’s done. Though I don’t think anyone else in the show is quite petty enough to dump ice cream on someone’s head.
I’m more annoyed by how Nate, who slept with his girlfriend’s best friend, is acting affronted when Blair/Chuck happened not only after that, but also after his thinking he was confessing his love to Serena with Blair in the same room. I’m trying to think of any leg he has to stand on, and coming up blank. Plus he’s letting Jenny blatantly use him.
My limited good will for you, Nate. It has withered up and died. It had a short lifespan, didn’t it?
I’m also confused as to why anyone would want that bunch as friends, but I guess it’s a prestige thing.
Chuck isn’t high on my List of Love, either. I except whatever passes as groveling for him. Though being nice to Erik helps, and maybe when he helps Serena with “G.” He seems to be properly settling in to brotherhood, despite wanting to introduce Erik to the wrong people. I already miss his torturing himself by watching Blair with Nate, though.
I’m assuming all the gifts and “G” are related to why Serena was gone for a year.
Meanwhile, Serena saying she has no idea what to wear to a fraternity hearing is one of the most touching things I have ever heard. But the lesyay went off the charts when Serena went to stop Blair from running away to France to escape the pregnancy scandal:
Seriously, change a few lines and that scene is straight out of a romantic movie. Or fanfic.
But poor Ramon! You know that, the second he heard Blair was coming, he started planning the perfect “Welcome to France!” party.
Does anyone else think Dan overreacted to Serena’s underreaction to his confessing his love?
I may or may not have sniffled at Blair’s scene with Eleanor when Eleanor was worried about the bulimia and Blair started crying. I’ll never confess.
