Excuse me. What I meant to say was that poor Disraeli’s angst and hatred for humans comes from when he was an innocent eleven-year-old and had a pet lamb named Snark. One day, he goes to the mansion kitchen and sees the staff killing animals for meat, and realizes that even by breathing, he is killing thousands of microorganisms. Then he, like, tries to kill himself by hiding in his room and not eating.

And so his meanie father tricked him into eating Snark and was all “Oh yeah, I killed your sisters and transplanted their organs into you, too. Oh, but I don’t need you now, because you’re illegitimate, and I have a son with my wife now. Except that I’m totally lying because his mother is my sister, not my wife, but lets not get caught up in technicalities here.
CUDDLING HUMAN ENTRAILS AND SMILING! THERE MUST BE A REWARD FOR ORIGINS LIKE THIS!!!
Oh, and Mary totally ships Cain/Riff, what with all the talk about how not even she can break the bond between their hearts (Not my words! Hers!) and “His heart has been broken. What will this horrid betrayal do to him?”
Actually, the whole Cain/Riff breakup reminds me a bit of Kato’s reaction to Kira reverting to being Lucifer in Angel Sancturay (Which I guess would make Mary Weather be Setsuna?), though Cain>>>Kato. (And Kira>>>Riff, though I like Riff much more than I do Kato, eventhough Kato did grow on me.)
And Cain is having a coffin with a human face made. Mary Weather thinks it’s for Riff. Probably means it’s for Cain or Alexis.
And Mikaila is all grownup! Though I remain confused as to whether she’s a zombie or a clone. A living doll made from a skeleton, that looks like and apparently has the biology of the original person. Is that a zombie or a clone? Or is it their mutant offspring. Sadly, Mikaila becomes smoke about 2 seconds after she realizes Alexis is full of bunk.
And Alexis wants Cain to mate with her to create an even more cursed bloodline. Since Mikaila is based on Suzette, who was Cain’s half-sister, would that be double incest? And how would Mikaila’s zombie/clone/whatever status factor in?
Cain blows up every Hargreaves mansion Riff has ever been in! Riff pretends to be Riff again! Or maybe it was real and evil!Riff only pretended it was fake! Cain somehow being sprawled out while chained up in a coffin that turned into a bench! Or something! (I swore it was a coffin the first time we saw him chained up in it…)
Disraeli says whip marks are signs of love, and that Cain is obviously more loved since he’s the one with scars!
Oh, and Alexis apparently has Augusta’s body sealed up alive in a wall or some such, and wants to be free of a human skull he was talking to at the end. Or something.
