1. One day, Texans will learn how to drive in the rain. On that day, I will cheer. And feel much safer on days like today.
2. The apartment has become a sty and I have decided that it is time for epic cleaning. i curse the laziness that lets it get like this.
3. Decided that the death of a computer on Saturday and a refrigerator on Monday, but with minimal finacial repercussions, warranted a visit to the UBS. Possibly, I will break my "no new acquisitions allowed to be added until you've read the volume of the last additions" rule due to aggravating week. This is not because I want to attack the CMX box with love at all. Honest.
4. Speaking of books, is it now trendy to just praise an author without giving a single clue whatthe book is about anywhere on the book? Because I picked up several books today that had no hints about plot of setting or anything, and put them back because...uhm...no idea what they were. Dear Publishers: I don't care how brlliant the author is, unless I've read every book they've ever written, I'm not reading before I know what it's about!
5. But I should have gotten groceries before that. Didn't realize how much small stuff I had until I had to replace it!
