That must be why I could never sink into this book -- the fact that the first 150 pages are all just political setup without much else going on. I just wasn't able to last that long and put the book down.

Yeah, I thought I remembered you saying that. Once you get past the 150 pages, it's pretty much worth it. You just have to get that far...
