Does anyone know where I can get the Claymore anime subbed that does not involve streaming or megaupload?  I need it.

Also.  Shana.  (Anime, not Kathleen Woodiwiss book.)  Your opinions?

Dunno about Claymore since it got licensed.

As for Shana, I really like it, especially the first season (took me a while to stop being irritated with the heroine, though). The second season is weaker and drags (lots of anime filler). They seem to be rewriting most of the events in the novels and while this worked out well for the first season, they left out most of the awesome in the second season. (Probably because that storyline's still ongoing in the books and is unresolved.) Anyway, I do recommend it. It's better marathoned, tho', IMO.

Marathoning is actually my normal state of being...

No idea how good the subs or video quality are or anything, but this megatorrent is apparently still active.

Shakugan no Shana has been strenuously recommended to be, but I've never actually seen it. It's supposed to be very, very good, though.

I always go with anime_downloads for that sort of thing.
