I don't know if this counts as a scar, but i think it should! :)

In the film Bride with White Hair, after Zhuo YiHang and Lian NiShuang vow eternal love for each other and she left her evil sect and was punished by stoning, walking on hot coals etc etc etc, and runs to his sect in her bridal dress, he chooses to believe the surviving members of his sect (who had all just been massacred by her evil masters without her knowledge), and the pain of his mistrust sends her mad with anger and grief and her hair turns white in an instant...

In the sequel, he realises that he's wronged her and camps out on a snowy mountain to wait for this rare flower to bloom which would cure her of the white hair, but by this time, she's turned into an evil man-hating martial arts expert who kills men... her hair is poisonous and she kills by stabbing the blokes with it...and as penance, he lets her stab him with her hair (he doesnt deflect it at all) and at the moment of stabbing, she goes all quiet and asks him why he didnt block her attack, only for him to apologise and they pledge eternal love for each other, the building burns down around them, but her hair turns back to black again...

A-G-N-S-T!!!

You see why I love that movie so much!

(Also, Leslie Cheung and Brigitte Lin = EXTREMELY PRETTY angst.)
