So, when the grandparents were young, they were essentially past-generation Tokine and Yoshimori? I am shocked. Shocked, I say. I bet they dated when they got a little older. Hopefully, Tokine and Yoshimori won't fall into the rivalry tactics they did. At some point, the antagonistic antics must end and, really, the placement of the hereditary markings is a very clear sign.
So, Lord Uro was asked by persons-unknown to give him part of the then-forest centuries ago? And Yoshimori thinks it was Karasumori? Is this a core plot I see already?
Meanwhile, Evil Forces(or whatever) are scoping out the school grounds, and bringing ayakashi that bleed feathers and dissolve into feathers when killed with them.

I have to say...I keep getting thrown by the relative lack of supporting cast. I've gotten used to my shounen action having a huge supprting cast by now. We have one here too, but an amazingly contained one...
