Bride of the Water God Vol 2

Glasses Guy tells Soah that Mui and Habaek are the same guy, Murah(with the cool facial tattoo) says they aren't because she wants him for herself, and Soah decides to find out if they are by stripping them(shirts only! honest!) and seeing of they both have the dragon tattoo on the chest.  I admire her *cough* initiative.  And that is the main focus of the volume.

Mixed in we have a sick Mui mistaking Soah for his dead wife and planting a serious one on her, Soah giving Mui medicine via mouth-to-mouth because he can't take it himself, Mui saving Soah from a slave trader and getting stabbed for his efforts, all sorts of teasing and innuendo about everything imaginable, everyone postulating everytheory they can think off, and all these gorgeous shots of the Korean mythical heavens and land.

You know...I have no idea why I wike this one so much...the plot is thin, Soah can take three or more pages to finish a thought(and yet, not annoy me...) it's amazingly slow paced, and everything is in place for the love quadrangle of doom with the conniving other woman, the quiet yet angsty guy who seems primed to fall for Soah, and even the parent in place to interfere.  yet none of it remotely bothers me.  I think it's my extreme weakness for mythology based stories.

And did I mention the super important dragon tattoo?
