kdrama: Spring Waltz, eps 13-16

*Uhm...I will love Phillip forever for, despite recently getting his heart trampled on, telling people to butt out and leave JH and EY alone because it's none of their business and it's what's best for them.  I mean, seriously, how many secondary male leads do that halfway through the show, despite getting their hearts trampled on.

*I must seriously question the sanity of CGG and Batty!Mom, though,  I mean, JH flatout told him he loved EY and wasn't going to be with anyone else, yet they still try to manipulate him into an engagement with CGG, and then were shocked and hurt when he didn't let them get away with it and announced he loved her to the entire assembly.  Apparently, it also caused Batty!Mom to dramatically faint.

*And, uhm...what world does CGG live in where it's ok to take your romantic rival to see a sick woman you KNOW will react badly to RR, just so RR can see that the guy's family doesn't like her.  I mean, forget EY for a second...that's an emotionally fragile woman who just got a shock, who CGG supposedly cares for, and she deliberately arranged for them to meet in the worst possible way, while Batty!Mom was in the hospital.  Sheesh.

*I am possibly getting into BFF and EY's Adopted Brother, despite wanting her to land Phillip.  Largely due to AB's going ballistic on Scum!Dad for going anywhere near EY. And BFF must be happy.

*Meanwhile, now almost EVERYONE knows JH is Su-Oh(or Su Ho of Soo-either...indecisive subs...).  Though, naturally, CGG found out first and decided to use it for revenge.  Except...I dunno, finding out that a family lied to you and led you on and a guy was in a relationship with you just to maintain a facade...I'm thinking the right response  is to either expose the lie to the world, or arrange for a sniper to show up at a concert.  Not to try to blackmail a guy who lied to and doesn't even like you into marrying you.  I mean, sure, you get to make him miserable, but it won't exactly make you happy, either.

*I...I possibly got caught up in the part where JH finds out Kiddie!EY might be alive and goes to the island to find out, and sees EY in the field where they used to play and realized they were the same one and she saw him and ran up and hugged his back because she thought he followed her(which he was totally in the middle of doing before getting sidetracked anyway) and he can't face her because he was crying.  Maybe.  Possibly.  It was all wonderfully dramatic and OTP-ish and prettily shot.

*There is also riding a bike together and long walks and snuggling on the beach and all sorts of such fun stuff.  And JH has taken to standing in empty fields and dramatically yelling "Eun-Young!"  It's like a habit.

Four episodes left.  I do not trust it to not have random cancer or other fatal disease, or one of the leads to not get hit by a car.  However, some nice, wonderful woman who understands english and does not mind bad Korean needs to randomly appear and catch Phillip's eye so he won't end up all brokenhearted and alone.
