That bath scene is very reminiscent of a scene in Ninja Scroll. Or maybe the scene in Ninja Scroll was reminiscent of this. When was this made?

I gain joy from that.

I think the bath scene is a parody/homage of the Ninja Scroll scene. The movie, I think, is only a year or two old. But the whole thing is homage/parody of virtually everything out there.

>> All the women stare longingly at the giant sword and want to touch it. <<
Why, how very ... subtle!
And that guy is too old and not pretty enough to be Yukimura (real Yukimura died at age 48). ;-)

What? Why, this is the most subtle movie ever. EVER I say...
And that guy is too old and not pretty enough to be Yukimura (real Yukimura died at age 48). ;-)
Sadly, I have only ever seen 1 young and pretty Yukimura...the one we know and love. For whatever reason, most things make him older and not pretty.

Yes, both are amazing(th pom-pom suits are also in Yoshitsune)
The movie is just pure fun, even if they plot can occassionally freeze your brain from shock.
