"5 Things" is still an arbitrary default for list posts, but ok. (Mostly TV)

1. I haven’t talked much about TV here recently, but I haven’t really felt fannish about US shows? Elementary and Madam Secretary are solid shows that I have great fondness for but little interest in initiating conversation about, though it is worth noting that MS is one of those shows that’s really going after the current political climate. wondering if Still Starcrossed will ever make it to my screen

Good question. HTGAWM is leaving its slot to The Catch, which I'll probably watch in the summer when I have more time. Maybe Still Starcrossed will replace Scandal, but since it started late this season, there are still many episodes left.

I enjoyed the first season of The Catch more than expected (despite certain issues) and am looking forward to season 2, but I'd rather have Still Starcrossed.

Ugh, Moon Lovers was so bad... I dropped it on the 6h episode, I think..?

I'm on a c-drama binge right now. Just finished watching General and I (I've never seen so many real (like, we see the mouths moving) kisses in a cdrama before!! What happened?) and now I'm watching Nirvana on Fire. The first I was in it until the end for the romance, though the later half of the show dragged a little bit... Nirvana on Fire is plot heavy and not very romantic, but I like it. It's the second role I've seen Hu Ge in and in both he played an invalid... The first drama I saw him in was Sound of the Desert. I don't expect a happy ending out of this one but I'm curious to know what's going to happen.

Princess Weiyoung is next on the list.

I stayed with it until ep 16, but I didn't keep up with it so much as I watched chunks when bored. The thing is, I do get why people liked it, but aside from visuals and a few performances, there was nothing actually GOOD in it, and most of the cast was terribly out of place in a sageuk, something that was only acceptable for Hae Soo's actress.
