How to Get Away With Murder 1.4-1.6: I think episode 6 finally pushed me over to starting to develop an investment in the show, as opposed to respecting it a lot, but not being attached.

-Wes and Rebecca are kinda cute, but I expect to be betrayed in one way or another.

-People are right with their comments about Annelise favoring Wes. I almost think there has to be something else to it? I don't think that it's that he knows about her affair.

-I'm sad that flashforwards are ruining my hopes that Michaela and Connor become epic frenemies. (But maybe they are when they aren't trying to figure out how to cover up a murder?)

-At this rate, Annelise is going to become the most complex character on US TV. Or maybe she already is.

-Also, I'm glad we're moving away from "Annelise defends unrepentant murder" plots.

-I'm really uncomfortable with the narrative being constructed around Laurel/Frank. What i see on my screen is a young woman who is attracted to an older male coworker who has a position superior to hers. She's aware of his interest due to a less than subtle pursuit and wants him as a mentor, but consistently and unconditionally rebuffs his overtures. (As a bonus, we have a white man pursuing a younger WoC in a less secure position than him, and who has to maintain at least some of his goodwill.) The one time she does let anything happen, she does her best to clear the air immediately. We also know from Annelise's comments about "slutty co-eds" (something I'm really unhappy about even now) and Frank's conversation with Bonnie that Frank regularly pursues Annelise's students. But then we have Bonnie's accusation that laurel is leading Frank on, framing it as a "rich girl leads working class guy on for kicks" thing and I don't think the show wants us to see it as Laurel deliberately leading Frank on, but I think that it leans more towards that than anything else.

-I do wonder who Bonnie's "real" loyalty is to. My current read is that she's one of the student's Annelise's husband had an affair with in the past and Annelise knows it, but gave her a job anyway, which switched Bonnie to Team Annelise.

-I'm amused that in the episode where the main plot started to develop Asher beyond "rich jerk frat boy," the flashforwards were pretty much confirming the "rich jerk frat boy" interpretation.

-Connor, just go grovel to Oliver a lot. You'll feel better. After a while.

-Completely ready for Annelise's husband to bite it. I'm not even bothering to learn his name.

-Still not sure what's up with Hot Cop Boyfriend.

Jane the Virgin 1.4:

-Thank you, show, for the pool scene. A lot.

-OMG PETRA'S SECRETS, WHAT?

-Rafael, it's not that I don't get it, but you do remember, don't you, that Jane is probably going to reconsider things if you and Petra break up before she actually legally signs the baby over to you, right?

-I'm a bit surprised they did the "Rogelio is Jane's father" reveal to Jane this early on.

Sleepy Hollow 2.7: let us never speak of this Eldritch Horror again. And hope the writers of this episode are shipped off to a show none of us watch.

Also, it's reached the point where I start actively disliking Ichabod and Katrina when they start talking about there being hope for Henry. Look, guys, I get the in-canon justification of your feelings, but even ignoring all the things he's done to you (and the stuff he's done to Katrina alone is more than enough to kill any chance of my buying redemption for him) and the people who have died/almost died because of him just this season, the guy is literally trying to destroy the world because he's mad at his parents for dying. Guilt that neither of you have really done anything to deserve has to stop somewhere.
