manga: Skip-Beat! Vol 28-32

Unless there's a volume that's out in the US that I don't know of, I am now caught up with the US releases. WHAT TO DO!

-For those who follow the series in scans and maybe don't keep up with individual volumes: vol 32 ends with Ren getting creepy with Kyoko over Sho and pinning her to the bed, and then Kyoko flipping him over and straddling him. Because Kyoko does stuff like thay.

-Listen, Nakamura. I'm very fond of Ren, I truly am. But I do not care about his angsty past (or, for that matter, the parts about his past that don't involve him frolicking in meadows with wee!Kyoko, or the angst that isn't related to Kyoko) particularly when it leads to him getting creepy with Kyoko.

-Though I am ok with it when it leads to him wandering the halls looking for Kyoko while wrapped in a towel and then using her as a security blanket. That's ok.

-ONLY ONE BRIEF MOKO APPEARANCE. Unacceptable. (There has, sadly, been waywaywayway less Moko since the series started focusing more on Kyoko's acting career.)

-Speaking of Moko, Kyoko's 5335~ fairies should have had Moko's face. Because you know Kyoko thinks Moko is a real fairy princess sent to earth to be adored by Moko.

-Not big on another "sexy" star deciding to go after Kyoko, but at least it's not Reino. Even Sho is better than Reino. (Actually, I enjoy Sho in his assigned narrative role, but naturally strongly disapprove of Sho/Kyoko as a future thing.)

-I still lovelovelove the Cain Siblings stuff. But when did this series become so Idtastic with a side of kink? Did Nakamura take off for a month and lock herself in a room with the entire works of Kaori Yuki. (I say that partly because the art for the angsty flashbacks and identity issues and Black Jack costume all remind me of Kaori Yuki to some degree.)

Maybe I should finally watch the anime and/or TWDrama?
