I'm finishing up my semi-annual rewatch of Princess Tutu (Possibly to be followed by rewatching Twelve Kingdoms? I've been meaning to for a bit now.) and every time I rewatch, I get to disc 3 and watch the official PV and get surprised because I tend to actually forget that the "Hold me Now" AMV isn't the actual official PV for the series. Though

So I found Princess Tutu on Hulu and am all set to enjoy it with my daughter but wanted to check in with you - do you think it's ok for a 9-yr-old? Or is it a little mature for that age?

The 1st season should be fine, and nicely concludes most of what's going on, so it can be watched independently. There's nudity, but it's completely desexualized and you don't actually see anything(Llike many henshins, Ahiru's transformation sequence has a bit of nudity, but there are times when she transforms from a duck to a girl as well. There's nothing remotely fanservicey about either, though.)

The second half is where most of the darker/mature stuff is, so I'd see how into it she is and judge then.
