Continuum 2.4:

-Wait, show, why are you making me kind of...teary. You aren't supposed to do that to me.

-With all the hints we've been getting about lots of other time travelers, I was hoping that the flashforward meant Kiera's partner was one of them, but I was hoping they'd be partners again. What we got was rather great, though.

-Loved the Liber8 stuff. Did not care about the dude who had the suit and his complexes.

-Also did not care about Alec and his growing entitlement. Alec, I'm sorry, but yes, it is actually CONSIDERABLY more important to stop terrorist/find the supersuit before they do than that you attempt to ask a girl out.

-Tired of Kiera's stalker dude. Like, can't Kiera actually issue a complaint against him or something?

-And where were Kellogg and Betty?

-I think I'll rewatch Travis and Sonja at the dry cleaners.

-I think I just mostly did a checklist of things in the episode that I wasn't big on, but I actually liked it a lot.

Defiance 1.5: Well that was...interesting.

-I've seen enough westerns that pretty much everything that happened with Nolan and Amanda's plotline was fairly predictable, but I enjoyed it a lot. I do not object to the further adventures of Rynn and the chatty husband.

-But why am I not surprised that it was the black husband who died? I did like that polygamy was actually discussed in a serious and mostly-non-shaming way. (Nolan was mocking of it, but then, he mocks everything.)

-I always approve of female saviors/destined ones. I was surprised to see so much of Irisa's background (and how she and Nolan met) this early on.

-Also surprised at how quickly they did Irisa/Tommy. Though, as we know, while late-first-season hookups may last, hookups this early in the first season almost always eventually go south.

-I'm actually rather surprised that Nolan didn't walk in and let out a shriek of paternal horror at the end there. (Though I guess it isn't taking THAT much of Eureka into consideration. Not that I recall that ever happening in Eureka, but it's what WOULD have happened if Zoe or Jo ever decided to have sex in the station.)

-No Tarrs this week? (Well, except Alak's bookend scenes. Actually, it was nice seeing one of the younger characters act...well, like a kid. I think the only other scene we've really had of teens acting like bouncy teens is when Alak and Christie were at the bar or whatever in the pilot.)

Elementary 1.22:

-I don't care about Moriarty, but I DO care about Irene and what she's been up to and why she faked her death.

-Watson figured out who set that dude up! Woot!

-Far fewer "woot"-s for Gregson, who may have been well intentioned, but really was quite patronizing, and that tone he used when telling Watson about the job offer rather killed his claims that it wasn't.

-I feel this episode was very good and calling men out on "I'm keeping secrets/trying to manipulate you into leaving FOR YOUR OWN GOOD" without being too heavyhanded about it. I especially like that Watson knew exactly what Holmes was up to and took steps the second he started vowing to protect her.

-Holmes is going to get attacked for interrupting Watson's sleep one of these days. (She should get a deadbolt for her door, and possibly rethink napping on the couch.) Actually, she and Clyde might just gang up on him.

-Bell still did tragically little, though at least it looks like he'll be doing things in the finale.

Person of Interest 2.22:

-Not that I'm complaining at the lack of fretting and delayed devastation, but that certainly wasn't as tense as other finales for the show. (Yet, Root possibly having control of The Machine should worry me even more than Reese having half a dozen bullets in him.)

-I loved the twin chases and teamwork.

-So, the Shaw/Root spinoff is going to be a real thing, right? RIGHT? With Shaw and Root as frenemies doing the stuff The Machine thinks Reese and Finch are too pure and virtuous for?

-I was sad at how little of Carter's plotline there was, but liked what they did with it. Threaten to kill anyone she involves? She'll do it herself. (Also, was Reese's justification-though not actually his real reason-for not interfering with HR planning to assassinate Elias really pretty much "he messed with you over 25 episodes ago, so he can rot.")

-No Fusco again? I wonder if the actor ran away to another show.

Revolution 1.17: So, if I've doing my math right, in terms of character deaths for recurring/major characters, we're at 6 white men, 1 white woman, and 1 black man.

-I was including the dude the elevator ate and Strausser and the old coworker Rachel went stabbity on in that tally, as all were in multiple episodes.

-Oh Charlie, I love you, but I don't think the dysfunction between you and Rachel begins to compare to Tom's physical and emotional abuse of Jason. (Though I'm not sure how much of the abuse she's picked up on.)

-Speaking of Tom and Jason, while I liked the self-awareness Tom displayed this episode, I can't help but think the most significant part of his saying he couldn't leave Jason behind was his identifying Jason as his "only" son. (I honestly believe that it might have been a different story if he had backups.)

-I guess I was wrong about Nora and Miles having been having sex for a while. Oh well.

-At this point, I expect all of Monroe's remaining men to turn on him just out of self-preservation. (Bye, Jeremy. Though, dying off screen increases your chances of a surprise return.)

-I was very worried Charlie was going to be trapped under that building the whole episode. Very happy to see that she dug herself out.

-Jason, how did you even get that far in your condition? (And how much digging could you have actually done, anyway? I'm not sure how lucid you actually were, at that.)

-Not sure how I feel about Nora pretty much sacrificing herself rather than have Miles do the suicidal dash. But at least she isn't dead. I mean, she's lost her sister either to permanent estrangement or a possibly suicidal trip to Texas (though I keep hoping Mia will pop up again) and there was a high probablity that Charlie was dead, not to mention Nicholas-the only close friend we've seen her have-is dead, leaving Miles the only person she cares about who we know of who she knew was alive, so for her motivation, it makes perfect sense for her to decide to stop him from doing the suicide run, it just plays into the overall metanarrative in fiction (though not really this show) of WoC sacrificing themselves for white men/deciding the white men have more important destinies.

-GEEEEEZ Rachel/Miles flashbacks. Miles, Rachel stuff makes it REALLY hard to keep liking you. I'm hoping the "fling" was before Rachel and Ben were together. Since they're probably going to make Miles be Charlie's biological father, I'm hoping that it's something like Rachel went to Ben after learning she was pregnant for advice about Miles and they made the decision together to pretend Charlie was his. Basically, if they do that, I want Ben to have known that Charlie wasn't biologically his.)

-While I still roll my eyes at their determination to push Aaron's new-found pertinence, I am amused that Ben and Rachel apparently adopted him. (And how did Ben explain away packing up and running while Rachel was on a trip for "supplies?" I mean, Danny and maybe Charlie were young enough to buy "Mom will meet us in the next town," but surely even Aaron has more common sense than that.)

-Being one of the apparently very few people who likes Jason and thinks Charlie/Jason has potential, I've been somewhat anticipating the kissing scene they've been tossing around the promos for a while now, but while it was cute, it kind of...came out of nowhere? I was wondering if it might be a dream Jason was having until Tom walked up with that "Oh hell no" expression. (Tom, you've ranted about this a few times, why are you looking so surprised?) i will also note that i think that's the first time we've seen charlie with a real smile since Danny died.

-I am somewhat amused at how they've figured out that (A) JD Pardo pulls off the "I angst while looking like someone beat me half to death" look well and (B) most people who are going to be draw to the Charlie/Jason style pairing are going to appreciated the dude regularly ending up half dead in his efforts to protect/help her, and have decided to combine them.

-Where is Julia, anyway? I mean, I'm sure she isnt actually on screen because Kim Raver was filming that backdoor pilot for whatever show it was, and they wanted Charlie to be the one there when he woke up for the smoochies, but I had assumed that she was in Georgia, and wanted an explanation? Like, even Charlie saying that she'd been there, but Neville made her go home due to sleep deprivation and still recovering from being sick. (Assuming he was telling the truth about that.)

-Promos for next week look pretty interesting, though I"m sure the "traitor" will end up not being Sam or either Neville, but a random guest star instead. I'm going to be very upset if they off Nora, though. VERY UPSET.
