Alec's mom, why are you bothering to visit Julian in jail?
This confused me too. I thought she hadn't been his stepmom for that long. And she pretty angry about his involvement in things that led to his dad/her husband getting killed. I'm glad they're keeping her around though? I guess?
I like seeing Travis out and about and gathering armies now (and he somehow makes carrying around a suitcase full of heads seem totally normal)
YES. Last season didn't really show his leadership skills. He has charisma! I liked the contrast of Sonya trying to get out of violent solutions/selling drugs, while Travis is uniting the gangs under one tent. Actually, if Sonya leans away from the gang stuff, and moved into more of a grassroots activism (possibly with some shady connections), maybe she and Travis's groups wouldn't actually have to come into conflict? COULD THEY JUST DECIDE TO BE DIFFERENT GROUPS. I mean I know she tried to kill Travis, but he totally could have killed her in this episode and instead killed the biker right next to her. And he's a super soldier, so that can't be an accident.
Also, isn't Travis going to need more of that serum soon? I doubt he or Jaz actually knows how to make it.
I think they said last season that Sonya had made enough to last for years.
I'd still say that Kiera is central, but it is more of an ensemble now. I'm really taken with Liber8 though so. But yeah, I don't care so much about the Alec stuff. Kellogg being 60 different kinds of shady always amuses me, but.
