Continuum 2.2: Way too much dudes trying to bond with other dudes, not enough Kiera shooting things and pwning people. Still a fun episode overall, and I particularly liked the flashbacks (flashforwards?).

Defiance 1.3:( spoilers )

tv: continuum, tv: defiance, tv: lightfields, tv: revolution

Continuum:

I really liked the flashbacks/flashforwards too. Sonya/Travis continue to be my interracial POC terrorist freedom fighter babies OTP. Last season when Sonya killed several dudes to create a serum so her boyfriend could continue to live? That struck me as weirdly romantic. And he was reliant on it due to evil corporate military experiments. So the reveal that she had been one of the scientists involved in those experiments, and she broke him out? So good. Love was a large part of her growing into this terrifying freedom fighter, but then her ideals and loyalty to the cause and the leader end up outstripping her loyalty to the guy she's still in love with. YES. It was nice to see Travis's intelligence come through too, with all his speechifying in the transport vehicle. I felt like his actual leadership skills weren't properly shown last season. So yeah, otp. Looking forward to the whole former lovers (who are still in love with each other) battling for control, with ideology and gang warfare. (If there has to be a winning side, I obviously choose Sonya, but.)

Oh, they are completely my OTP of the series (which I had expected to be Kiera/Carlos, as I can be predictable that way, but I prefer them as friends, and Kira and Kellogg seem more frenemies who have sex sometimes on her end, though a bit more for him, probably) even if I"m still a bit sad that she wasn't successful in killing him, because that was awesome.
