Another 'Top 100" list, this time AFI's list of 100 most romantic movies of the last 100 years (very heavily skewed to the 30s-60s era of Hollywood.)
Bold the ones you've seen, italicize the ones you mean to see, underline the ones you don't intend to see/couldn't make it through.

Also I saw whats up doc, the lady eve and on golden pond and i'd say only the last one is romantic. i really liked on golden pond, i saw it in highschool and you'd think a movie about old people wouldn't work for a teenager but it totally did. its very sweet. lady eve though isnt romantic, like i saw it and at first it was really funny but then it got gross because see the guy rejects her cause she's a con woman. reasonable right? then she takes on a new identity as the lady eve. and he falls in love with her again, and so they get married but she makes up a bunch of past lovers and tells him about it and he freaks out, annuls the marriage and goes back to her as the con woman. and thats supposed to be romantic. blech.
Whats up doc is REALLY funny and I loved it, so I rec that uber hard. It didnt feel that romantic though, it was more of a fun romp. its like one of the few american romantic comedies i can actually stand. along with when harry met sally and his girl friday. which should have been on the list!
