Also, personal opinion: I think Aishwarya Rai (lady in the icon) is lovely and I like her as an actress. Her one Bollywood movie that I've seen is one of my favorites (in my admittedly limited viewing) and I thought she was the best thing in the two non-Bollywood movies I've seen with her. But I think all the makeup they put her in all the time detracts from her attractiveness and sometimes makes her look almost plastic. (Aaaah...I think the same about some Hollywood actresses, too. It's just that most of the Hollywood movies I watch are in subsets less prone to that.) No idea what the general opinion is on how she seems to wear way more makeup than any other Bollywood actress (based on pictures, what I've seen, and some trailers) though i do remember a few comments about her having a lot less makeup in a recent movie.
