Archer's Goon is one of my favorite books by Diana Wynne Jones. You've reminded me that it's been years since I last read it. I'll have pull it off the shelf.

This was the first of Diana Wynne Jones' books that I read, I have enduring love for it.

This was my Yuletide fic last year (not what I requested, the one I wrote, and I read it for Yuletide), but it was extremely enjoyable and just fun, though I had to reread it a couple of times to fully understand how it played out.
