Rectober 2015: Day 2 - Friendships Are Awesome
Since sometimes friendships are not appreicated enough in fandom, and because friendships are amazing, wonderful and without them the world wouldn't be the same, here is a recs list that focuses on friendships! 20 fics for 8 fandoms.

Why I loved it: I really liked the scene between Laurel and Nyssa we got to see in the show, so I was also glad when I found a "missing scene" fic about it. Those two definitely should interact more. I like how this fic is written. Mentions of Sara made me kind of emotional.

So yes, I'm really glad I found this fic, even if it's short. Ted really deserves more appreciation (and I still hope he'll be back).

Why I loved it: Rosa & Amy friendship. Road Trip fic. How can I not love it? As if I needed more reasons to love it to pieces: I really enjoyed the banter, the way Amy just tried to keep them both entertained, while Rosa was being, well, herself. But she still trolls Amy. It's a really great fic *happy sigh*

While I imagined some aspects differently, I like how the fic is written, and I just love Rosa & Jake friendship. I'm glad I found this fic.

Why I loved it: Maybe it's short, but I still liked that so many of my favourite characters appeared in this one. I love Roddy, Frank and Holly, and I was so glad when I saw the tags for them, especially in a friendship fic. Those three definitely deserve more appreciation. And the fic is nice, really. I like that so many people wanted to help Nick.

Why I loved it: It's a very nice fic. I like the banter between Monroe and Nick, I like how their friendship is written and how Monroe just provides food for Nick when Nick forgets to eat. I also enjoyed how Monroe just manages to cheer Nick up and Nick wants to help Monroe and get him back. So, yes, I like this one.

They get along well, they hang out, and Clint gets to show off his archery skills! I really, really like this fic.

Friendships, angst, getting to know the other... I love it. I especially love Rhodey hanging out with Sam and with Bucky. I just had to recommend this one.

Why I loved it: It's one of my favourite GotG fics, I think. Once again a 4 + 1 variety, this time about each Guardian finding it difficult to sleep. I love how supportive each of them are, how they care for one another... I love this kind of fics for this fandom, really. They give me all kinds of fluffy feels.

Why I loved it: Well, I love Sally and I love Anthea. So I just had to rec a fic that will be all about them, how they met and how their friendship started. It's fun and I really enjoy how this fic is written. I really like the conversations between Sally and Anthea, and that Anthea knows Sally is a good and competent police officer. And Anderson appears for a while, too.

Why I loved it: I really like this one. It's related to what happens in one of the episodes, and it was just as emotional to me as the episode itself was. I really like how supportive and great John is the whole time, and how much he wants to help Evan. By the end of the fic I wanted to hug and Evan and John (also, the ending itself totally made me smile).

Teyla, Sam and Evan are absolutely awesome. Each of them goes through a lot and get a chance to shine, but the ending of the fic is my favourite, I think, when Teyla and Sam get to talk and learn more about each other.

Why I loved it: This fic was one of the first I've read for this fandom, as far as I remember, and I still have a huge soft spot for it. I like the beginnings of their friendship and working relationship (and other kinds of relationships, depending on fics *lol*), and I really like how much Harvey and Donna care about Mike, how Harvey helps him, and their banter. And Donna is badass. It's still one of my favourite fics from this fandom.

All the other characters appear, too, and the fic explores Claudia's friendship with other characters, as well. I just recommend this fic in general.

Why I loved it: I really like this case fic, and I really enjoyed reading about the interaction between Sam and Teyla and how they bond. I like how it was written in general. Teyla, Sam and Evan are absolutely awesome. Each of them goes through a lot and get a chance to shine, but the ending of the fic is my favourite, I think, when Teyla and Sam get to talk and learn more about each other.

Why I loved it: This fic was one of the first I've read for this fandom, as far as I remember, and I still have a huge soft spot for it. I like the beginnings of their friendship and working relationship (and other kinds of relationships, depending on fics *lol*), and I really like how much Harvey and Donna care about Mike, how Harvey helps him, and their banter. And Donna is badass. It's still one of my favourite fics from this fandom.

Why I loved it: I really like this one. I always enjoy Myka and Claudia working on cases together, and it's just so fun to read fics that explore their working relationship and their friendship. All the other characters appear, too, and the fic explores Claudia's friendship with other characters, as well. I just recommend this fic in general.
