i wrecked my car yesterday.
but i'm ok.
went down a new road and hit a curve that had a ton of gravel on it and lost control and swerved a bit before just kind of tapping into a shallow ditch and then an embankment. tore the back left wheel & axle completely off & left a nasty scrape in the road. thankfully there were no cars coming towards me because the embankment was on the opposite side of the road. it was either hitting that, or a bunch of trees.
the asshat of a state trooper gave me a wreckless driving ticket but thankfully a guy i work with was behind and will be going with me to court in july so i hope it gets dropped. it's the first ticket i've ever had.
my back hurts quite a bit and i got about 3 hours of sleep due to me freaking out about everything. i wish i had the money for a professional massage. or chiropractor.
i'm just thankful i am alive.
