I wish you health and lots of joy with your wonderful family and in your georgeous part of the world. I hope you'll have time for an update soon, as I miss hearing about you. How are the kids and Petter? I hope he loves his new job. I'd love to see a couple of photos with them, or with your neck of the woods in winter. It always looks like

Thank you, M! You just got your wish - a photo heavy post from today yesterday (Saturday).
Petter enjoys his new job, and they enjoy having him there, so that's a win. Emilie has been visiting a friend in Oslo and is on the train home - so her parents are unable to get to bed at a decent time, lol. DOesn't matter that she's a sensible girl, need to have her back home before I can relax. Nicolay is sleeping, with two kittens on top of him. He was on happy camper when he went to sleep! We've just got a proper piano (second hand Schimmel from 1965 with am amazingly rich sound), so he's playing a lot. Great fun - though I do look forward to having the piano tuned. It's not madly out of tune, but it's not in tune either. And we have to wait until it's acclimatised to have the job done, as it will hold better if we do.

I did see your post - thanks for it! Glad to hear everyone's happy and having a good time. And of course you have to stay up to wait for your kid! :-) Doesn't matter how old and sensible she is. But hey, at least this means you have time to read and answer LJ.
