What a great weekend..
...Yes, even WITH the silly hurricane.
Well, Saturday was really all that mattered. Shawn had his first Saturday off in I dont know how long. We slept in until about 10am, then went to his parents house for a bit and got caught up talking to his brother. Then we left there and headed to the flea market.. hehe.. we grabbed some smoothies on the way, 11 bucks for 2 smoothies, man whata rip! We just walked around and looked at all the junk. Nothing worth buying of course, well except for the elephant ear! yumm. nothing beats that!
Then we went home and took a nap, got up watched the weather channel.. we were supposed to go to Howl-O-Scream but thought it would get cancelled.. but it didnt!! So we headed there, went to Target got some raincoatsf irst of course, we were sure it would at least rain a lot.
Man.. we had SO much fun! it was so nice to get to do something with shawn, we have been so couped up and been doing nothing but sleeping and working.. The haunted houses were really well done and I definitely got my fair share of "scares" but of course Shawn says he didnt! lol.. boys. Well, we left there at about 10pm because we had done everything and my feet and back were beginning to hurt.. and luckily it didnt rain once.. it was just prefectly breezy the whole time. What a great night.
Sunday of course was Hurricane day.. LAZY day. Did absolutely nothing but watch the discovery health Channel. the first niht away from Shawn too.. he slept at this parents and me at mine, our dumb power went out. Urrgh it makes me so mad too because the whole front part of our complex HAS power.. and we dont.
Well all in all, it was a wondererful weekend, but I gotta run now, time to get ready for work... I have Lifestyles and Davis all day since there is no school.. AGAIN!
These poor kids are getting no education this year! Hey, more money for me :)
