My lovely Trip :)
So friday after work we headed out to NC. It was a really fun drive, lol.. me and shawn goofed off and just had a lot of fun. We got some dinner and drove some more and then we stopped about 2 hours out of where we were supposed to be going and stayed in a hotel. His parents got us our own room which was really nice of them. Saturday we got to this place called Waynesville.. oh my god is it beautiful there. I seriouslly want to move there one day. or at least get a place there. We went to lunch on the top of this mountain.. mount pisgah. It was rainy and foggy and i just about die driving through those mountains! But lunch was good.. then we went shopping in the town, it was really neat. shawn got some pants and gloves from work. his mom was begging me to get something but i just didnt feel i needed anything, besides they bought me all my meals and the room.. they are so darn good to me! In the end she ended up giving me money.. lol.. she is so silly. But anyways then we went out to dinner at this place called Antipastos and I didnt really like that. I wasnt in the mood for italian. The salad was awesome, but the manicotti wasnt that great.
That night we stayed at Carltons friend Dave Millers house, we were out like lights. Oh and Carltons house.. wow.. it is absolutely gorgeous! and its huge! the house is really old so the rooms and house is so unique, I just loved it. we didnt stay there though because there is no furniture there yet.
So then Sunday we did some more schopping got breakfast lunch and then went to this little 4th of july party in Carltons new neighborhood. All the people were really nice and the food was pretty good too. After that me and Shawn rode around and looked for fireworks. We saw a couple, but nothing to extravagent. But I was with my baby :)
Shawn and me left early monday morning and were home by 2pm. All in all, the trip may not have sounded so great, but it is SO peacful there.. and all that time with Shawn was really nice. We definitely needed it. I would give anything to move there. We both would. We can get a beautiful house with an amazing view for like only 100,000. You get so much more there for your money compared to stinky hot tampa. The only thing stopping us is family. Its too hard without family, especially with our bun in the oven on the way..
Today has sucked because I was so spoiled having shawn with me all day everyday... and now hes gone! :( but I am on my way to his house now, his momma made a big dinner.. yumm cause I am starving..
