So... a general crappy evening tonight. Get home from work, with Dustin's car there and no movement in the house. I assume Dustin is still asleep, since he didn't get home from work until about 7:30am (and more than likely took an hour to fall asleep). So, I sit down to read a book and wait until he wakes up. Oh dear, talk about proving rule one (all men are jerks). I know I don't comment much but seriously. I'd dump the asshole. You aren't overreacting. Just reading this makes me super pissed.

I know dumping him seems a bit extreme because it's "only" a movie. However, if he's going to pull this type of shit over a movie, he'll pull the same type of shit over something that's truly important. It feels like he's taking you for granted. This was important to you. You were looking forward to it and then he (and your 'friends') tromped all over you. I've had 'friends' pull this one on me too, and man it did taste bitter. Usually, I made a special outing of it on my own. Shopping, movie and dinner all at places I wanted to go to without having to worry about anybody else's schedule. (A bit of selfish payback for them being so selfish as not to wait.) Part of seeing a movie with friends is the whole mutual discovery and if he's already seen it. He's more likely to lean over and whisper what's going to happen in your ear than actually watch the damn movie.

I'm sorry. *sigh* I'd verbally punch his face in if I was there.
