Thank very, very much to all the kind folks who have stuck with this story, reading and reviewing through all its odd little twists and turns.  It was fun to write, even the heavy parts, and I hope it was as fun to read, in spite of the heavy parts. :D  Now, to go off and consider a piece of total silliness, just for a change of pace and a bit of a ( Read more... )

Aw, thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hadn't originally planned to use the laundry line, but as I got closer to the end I thought why not? That would've been about the right timing, after all. Once again, my Muse didn't steer me wrong! XD

You're quite welcome! XD And worry not, I have a number of ideas for tales that will follow this (or possibly precede, on can never tell).

Oh, Pinky went 'narf' instead of 'bowg!' Still laughing at that! Does she say 'Zort!" too? And Minion's last line was a great way of tying it back to the visuals.

I love how protective Roxanne is of his newfound eagerness, and how his earnestness makes her accept help she wouldn't have, normally.

This was fantastic - straight into my memories for future reading and re-reading. Stunning work.

Thanks, I'm very happy that you enjoyed this so much (and sooner or later, Pinky WILL have to say Zort! too :D) I suppose I ought to warn you that in a way, you're a bit responsible for what I plan to write next. Just...think along peculiar musical lines, that's all I'm saying. XD
