"My Better Half" Chapter 12 "The Proxy Initiative" is FINALLY up!
Did I say that last chapter was an ass kicker? Hahahaaaaa noooooo, I meant THIS ONE WAS!
Ugh.
I finally decided to break it up in two parts because the second half was really all that was holding it back. But hopefully the next few after that wont take so much time since they are pretty much done. Thank you so much Vast_Difference for your patience and for your wonderful Beta-editing abilities! I got your back in a fight! ;D
But anywho, for those of you who need a refresher for this chapter (seriously, I posted 11 in September?! What the faq?!) here's a brief reminder:
Minion and the "Good" Megamind convince Roxanne that in order to reconfigure the Extractor to meld the two together, she must keep the "Evil" Megamind distracted by keeping him away from the lair.
But things become 6 times more complicated when Forecaster tells Roxanne that unless she takes Megamind's place in "The Brotherhood of Bad Boys" then he will kill the blue alien. Not allowing this she accepts the offer on the grounds that she has to put the two Megaminds back together (in the hopes that when he is whole again, he will save her from her fate).
Roxanne and Minion formulate a plan that will allow her both protection from the evil society and time for him and "Hippie Sir" to hook up the RESET BUTTON to the machine that created the two minds in the first place.
But in order do this, Roxanne must first become Megamind's long held desire... A Villianess by the name of "Proxy"... But can she pull off a convincing bad girl while still maintaining some degree of control?
And as the song goes, "...Just as every cop is a criminal And all the sinners saints..." is good and evil really all that black and white? Is Good truly good and is Evil completely and utterly evil?
