One more fan and a few observations.

For a while now I have been trying to get my aunt to watch the movie Megamind. Last Friday we had a movie night and the movie was: Megamind. (Apparently Netflix isn't streaming Megamind at this time so I had to bring my DVD copy).

She didn't give me a thesis length response telling me what she liked and anything she didn't like, but overall she seemed very pleased and satisfied with it. :squee:

Observations:

1) I am a little puzzled by Megamind abandoning his death ray scheme in mid-plot (throwing up one arm and saying "ciao, ciao all!"). I guess maybe he just figured that Metro Man would come bursting out of the dome and apprehend him any second so it's just good planning to try and get away?

2) I'm curious to know at what point Metro Man figures out where the fake observatory is. I think from watching Metro Man's flight path it isn't impossible that just before descending into the real observatory he spots the fake one on the power plant in the industrial sector. But because Miss Ritchi on at least one occasion has been right about deducing Megamind's location he doesn't stop to question the situation.

3) On the Megamind DVD there is a special feature that profiles the characters and the voice actors that portray them. All the major characters are profiled EXCEPT for Brad Pitt who voices Metro Man/Music Man. So...what gives? I mean even Hal/Titan and his voice actor Jonah Hill get a moment in the spot light and HE'S THE VILLAIN in the 3rd act.

you know you're obsessed when . . ., dvd/blu-ray, discussion: real life, observations
