Dead-Eyed Plastic Desk Toy
Hey there everyone! It's been a moment since I last commented or posted here last, so I found an excuse for my to pop in and say "Ollo!" College is great so far, but it's already going too fast. It's been four weeks already and it only feels like it's been one week. Four weeks of precollege felt longer than this! D:
For my Drawing 1 (Perspective) class, our first big-ish project was to design a toy out of basic shapes and draw it in 1 point perspective in some kind of room, or box. Can you guess what I made?
Granted, it doesn't look much like the one in the movie since it had to be original, its still a Sippy Bird xD I just took the idea and turned it into a crow. It looked more like a crow in the perliminary sketches and less cutsie, and it also had a bow tie instead of a normal tie in the first idea. I also accidentally drew this on 2 point persepctive instead of one, haha. Profressor still liked it. Biggest issue was that his head looks like it's turned side ways, like it got punched, and if it were to dip into the water it would hit the edge of the glass instead, haha XD
My figure drawing class is becoming more intense, so if I manage to post something else soon, it will be of a Megamind 'Life Study', or a Megamind Anatomy study (I actually did some doodles of what his skull and rib cage might look like by memory while jotting down skeleton notes today)
