(Pokes head in shyly) Ollo LJ fandom? Does anyone here remember me? If not, that's ok. I've been spending a lot of time on tumblr so I understand. As for re-introductions, I'm StudyManiac the Megamind comm's slowest updater ever. ;P
Though to be fair, I never intended to make this fic more then just a short oneshot. However with the stupid DW employee BS we've seen over at tumblr I felt compelled to contribute to this fandom again. Because this you guys is awesome and I want to hold on to this comm for as long as possible. =]

Have you ever seen an eight hundred pound gorilla in a jail cell before?
Have you ever seen a nine hundred pound robotic gorilla piloted by a fish in a jail cell getting sympathy from the hookers in general lock up?
I didn't think so.
The clicking of my heels makes them look up. Apparently Minion has been keeping busy by mending ripped clothing, or at least what little clothing these ladies are wearing. I guess general booking let a needle and thread slide considering how he could probably tear the cell apart with his bare robotic hands if he wanted to. Not that he would. He and his boss are heroes now, so I suppose that Minion is trying to play by the rules.
"Hello Ms. Yin. How's Sir?" Is the first thing out of his sharp toothed mouth, but I shouldn't be surprised.
"I just came from the hospital. The doctors said that the bullet missed all his vitals and he should be fine. Provided that he rests, but Ms. Ritchi is having a hard time getting him to sit still for more then five minutes." I shouldn't surprised at that either. Megamind has always had a talent for getting into trouble but he's also always been just as protective of his Minion as the fish is to him. Hearing that the Pisces was arrested did not sit well with the blue ex-con.
"Oh thank evil heaven." Minion sighed. I don't think his lingo has caught up to his new status but oh well. A wave of relief washed over the cell. Not only Minion but all of the rest of the women around him rejoice too. Seems that the fish won their sympathy and support in the short time he's been here, but I guess it's like Megamind says. 'Who could resist that face.'
"Now let's see if I can get you out of here to see him." I say to bring the chorus to order. Once they're quiet I continue, "Since it's late I can't talk to a Judge till morning. So you'll have to spend the night but I can get you out on bail in the morning as long as you. Don't. Say. Anything. Understand? No boasting or chit chat with the officers."
"Understood." Minion nods, or at least bobbles up and down in his tank to look like nodding. As I leave, the prostitutes flutter around him happily like a flock of tropical birds but even I have to admit that the Minion's relief is contagious. I haven't seen general booking his calm in years.
"Janet?" The police chief looks confused. He saw me come in but he didn't see me go with my client to a private interview room. "Damnit." He growls quietly into his palm. The old chief glares at the rookie who made the mistake before turning that look on me. "You're going to argue that we denied Minion's right to private legal counsel aren't you?"
I only smirk.
Just because Megamind never followed my advice, that doesn't mean that this dragon lady lawyer can't his Minion out of trouble.
