Metro Man Centric Plot Bunnies For Adoption
I may eventually write a story for some of these plot bunny ideas I have had involving a Metro Man centric story, but I thought I would put these out there anyway on the off chance someone might pick one up and give it a good home.
-Being a hero is not all it is cracked up to be. Case in point on more than one occasion Metro Man has had to deal with women who have faked an emergency requiring his intervention in order to fulfill the fantasy of being rescued by him.
-How does the protector of Metro City go about such mundane activities as grocery shopping while staying out of the public eye? He uses his super speed! Another idea I have related to this is: younger newly initiated Metro Man tries to do some simple grocery shopping and everyone is watching and staring at him. He reaches for something unhealthy and people leer at him disapprovingly and he is shamed into putting it back and grabbing something healthier. Also he can't go anywhere without people throwing themselves at him, asking for favors, autograph, etc.
-Metro Man tries to take on The Doom Syndicate, but finds that even his powers have limits as he clashes with the state and federal police who insist on doing a thorough and complete investigation before springing a trap and catching the criminals in the act.
-Metro Man not only has to deal with Megamind on a weekly basis and requests from the helpless and random citizens of Metro City for such mundane tasks as helping an elderly woman open a can of tuna, but he also has to deal with some unbalanced and disturbed people (homeless, prostitutes, drug dealers, people threatening suicide, mentally disturbed, parents eliciting his help to locate a missing child/family member, out of control teenagers on spring break/summer break).
-One day Metro Man encounters a problem so big in scale that he isn't sure he can save the day and maybe discovers he is not so invulnerable (Metro City has there equivalent of 9/11 and inhales enough toxic dust to temporarily or permanently damage his respiratory and cardiovascular system).
